How high should a photo canvas be hung above a very low backed couch? I have a chesterfield sofa with a back height of only 27” If I hang my canvas at eye level, it is 19” above the back of the couch

This is a great question, things do get a little trickier in special circumstances like this. We generally recommend approx 6-8 inches above a piece of furniture such as a sofa or credenza. Given the extra low height of the sofa, you may wish to push it up an extra couple of inches. I understand that you have this canvas already, but one thing that we will often do in situations like this is use an extra tall piece of art to allow you to accommodate both the eye level to the centre, as well as the 6-8 inches above the sofa. Hope this helps!

I think the confusion here is that we are watching a woman, seemingly alone in a room, giving a lot of helpful information that requires added effort to understand bc it’s muffled. I’m as pro mask as it gets, but I don’t wear one when I’m alone in my home. I’m sure there must’ve been a crew behind the scenes here to warrant this protective measure, but it’s a little nonsensical to employ a room full of AV people to mic you up and add helpful text in post and use a million other concessions to perfectly capture the audio that wouldn’t have to be accommodated if, like a million other KZbinrs, this video had been shot at home, alone, the *actual* safest thing to be doing during the pandemic anyway

Hello Jacynda. Thank you for your comment and feedback. I'm sorry you could not take full advantage of all the information presented in the video because of the mask. We strongly believe in following our local public health guidelines in the workplace, especially when accompanied by team members, which is why using a mask is indispensable to protect the team and others. As a staging company, we needed a properly staged property to record this video and transmit our knowledge and techniques in the best way. We are working to create some new videos and hope to publish a new video soon with up-to-date techniques and tips. We are always working on improving our content, and I’m sure you will love our next video. 😊

I’m not sure if this exact tool is available in Sweden but it’s called a Hang & Level and is available on Amazon or most home improvement stores. If you cannot find this exact one you may be able to find something similar. Hope that helps!

Sorry to hear that you found it difficult despite the microphone used and the instructional text added to the screen. We have reviewed the video and have found that the speech is quite audible but understand that you may have had difficulty still. We take great pride in our commitment to the safety of our team and our clients, and always wear a mask in a client's home. We suggest that you turn on the closed captioning option to ensure that you don't miss any of the great tips.

I'm a home stager in N. California. I'm so glad you explained pricing and other procedures. For some reason a lot of clients think we stage as a hobby or for free. Even though they sign the contract. I had a client run behind my van asking for a refund, after the house sold She received he funds, realtor received hers, but she thought I should refund my fees. Great video

So where do you put a wall mounted tv? Still living in my home
@Beyondthestagehomes
@Beyondthestagehomes 4 жыл бұрын
Placement of a wall-mounted TV depends greatly on the space. While we don't place TVs in staged properties, we understand that you may wish to have one in your home. Ideally the TV should be placed in a way that is easy to see from the main sitting area of the room, and it should not be hung too high (we generally recommend the centre of the TV to be no higher than eye level). Hope that helps!

You are staging the rooms. Wouldn't it be high time to stage yourself a bit too? It's very hard to look past your hair, clothes and oversized jewelry. Don't take we wrong: you seem like a nice person! But when in sales... you want the buyers to look at what you are selling and not be destracted by personal you.

Are these prices per month of rental?
@Beyondthestagehomes
@Beyondthestagehomes 5 жыл бұрын
The prices are the initial prices for 30 days for most staging companies. Beyond The Stage Homes has a rental program that could allow for an additional 30 days of rentals at no charge. The fee to renew would be less than the initial fee, as the initial fee includes the setup/delivery/staging/destaging fees. Hope that helps!
