Thanks for sharing this, we're in the process of prepping a relative's home for sale so all these tips are very helpful. I agree with Sherrie Richard in her comment; I also could hear you just fine! 'Shout out to all the mask wearers; she cares about her team filming by protecting them with her mask!'

Thank you so much Shari, we're thrilled that you enjoyed the video, and appreciate your support regarding the mask as this was recorded early on in the pandemic. Best of luck with the sale of your relative's house!

I’m not sure if this exact tool is available in Sweden but it’s called a Hang & Level and is available on Amazon or most home improvement stores. If you cannot find this exact one you may be able to find something similar. Hope that helps!

Sorry to hear that you found it difficult despite the microphone used and the instructional text added to the screen. We have reviewed the video and have found that the speech is quite audible but understand that you may have had difficulty still. We take great pride in our commitment to the safety of our team and our clients, and always wear a mask in a client's home. We suggest that you turn on the closed captioning option to ensure that you don't miss any of the great tips.

I could hear you just fine! Shout out to all the mask wearers-she cares about her team filming this by protecting them with her mask! The rules noted in text was GREAT I was able to keep them in my notebook to read for reference when I can’t watch your video. Great video!

Think it’ll look bad if it’s one inch smaller than the furniture?

How high should a photo canvas be hung above a very low backed couch? I have a chesterfield sofa with a back height of only 27” If I hang my canvas at eye level, it is 19” above the back of the couch
@Beyondthestagehomes Жыл бұрын
This is a great question, things do get a little trickier in special circumstances like this. We generally recommend approx 6-8 inches above a piece of furniture such as a sofa or credenza. Given the extra low height of the sofa, you may wish to push it up an extra couple of inches. I understand that you have this canvas already, but one thing that we will often do in situations like this is use an extra tall piece of art to allow you to accommodate both the eye level to the centre, as well as the 6-8 inches above the sofa. Hope this helps!

An artist once told me this: find the middle between the tallest and shortest adults in the home and center that to eye level.

I think the confusion here is that we are watching a woman, seemingly alone in a room, giving a lot of helpful information that requires added effort to understand bc it’s muffled. I’m as pro mask as it gets, but I don’t wear one when I’m alone in my home. I’m sure there must’ve been a crew behind the scenes here to warrant this protective measure, but it’s a little nonsensical to employ a room full of AV people to mic you up and add helpful text in post and use a million other concessions to perfectly capture the audio that wouldn’t have to be accommodated if, like a million other KZbinrs, this video had been shot at home, alone, the *actual* safest thing to be doing during the pandemic anyway

Hello Jacynda. Thank you for your comment and feedback. I'm sorry you could not take full advantage of all the information presented in the video because of the mask. We strongly believe in following our local public health guidelines in the workplace, especially when accompanied by team members, which is why using a mask is indispensable to protect the team and others. As a staging company, we needed a properly staged property to record this video and transmit our knowledge and techniques in the best way. We are working to create some new videos and hope to publish a new video soon with up-to-date techniques and tips. We are always working on improving our content, and I’m sure you will love our next video. 😊
