Hello. At the beginning of your video I see that you have asphalt shingles on some beehives. I want to know why you used it, I also want to know if it worked for you. I also want to ask you if it doesn't harm the bees when using it on the hives.

I use it to keep my bees dry from the rains. It works it keeps my hives dry. And no it doesn’t harm the bees. Thank you for watching I appreciate it.

Thank you very much for answering. I also thank you for clarifying my question. I was asking you because I am thinking of making beehive roofs with that material, maybe I will complement roofs with galvanized tin with asphalt tiles, or maybe I will make a roof completely covered with that material. Mark one thing I love about the compact, it sits level of the hive! We have the bigger 1st unit. 8 amp hour battery. 3 minutes to heat up and *timed myself) 15 minutes to treat 9 hives. Got to love it. Tip. put the OA in a shallow wide lid tupperware container so you can just shove the plunger down into it. much faster loading.

You're building your apiary fast! The after swarms come fast after the primary. I did a cutout yesterday and I had about 9 pounds of bees in the vacuum. Nice job Mark! Thanks Mark!

That was a shadow on the side of the tree. But that swarm that was in that box I took the bees out of was a feral swarm I don’t have any beekeepers that live around here. Thanks for watching I appreciate it.

I don't know much about it but I think the bees are going to have a great season. Already hearing reoports of huge swarms where they've never been seen before. Might be escapees from a beekeeper 2 miles away.
