does the halo head strap fit with the face interface on? I wonder if it would have to go further back

Its a LAN stream - It does not even touch your internet. 2:21 Again your internet speed has no bearing on Virtual Desktop. Your internet speed is from the router, to the wider internet. Virtual Desktop, Airlink and Steamlink are from PC to router to headset. The internet is not involved in this equasion. 2:53 Why is your bitrate so low on wifi 6? Wifi 5 max is 866Mbps, which you are hitting on the wifi 5 router on the left, but you're barely getting that much more on the wifi 6 router, which should have a max of 1200Mbps (i believe). (Wifi 6E is 2400Mbps) Evidently, you dont really know enough to be making a proper comparison, and/or you don't have VD setup correctly, with the right settings, to take advantage of wifi 6. So why should i trust this video?

This is the only review of this accessory that mentioned flipping up the visor and it's the one thing that made me interested in it in the first place, thanks for mentioning that

Wish I watched this review first, all of the sponsored reviews on KZbin convinced me to buy the XR elite, and HOLY **** it is absolutely garbage, not worth $5. When compared side to side with a Rift S, Quest 2, and Quest 3, it is not even similar in performance or clarity or comfort. The XR elite is worse than the "vr headsets" you clip your cellphone into and play mobile app games on. The image is extremely zoomed in, especially the passthrough, so much so that I couldn't walk around with the passthrough turned on. The diopter lenses seemed to be blurry/glaring no matter how they were adjusted and the FOV was so small it was worse than looking through a keyhole on a door, the FOV was made substantially worse because the image is so zoomed in. it feels like you are seeing everything through a 3X magnification and your viewpoint is in front of the headset in games and passthrough. The actual headset tracking is abysmal... it makes me so sick because it is so laggy and stuttery and the refresh rate has to be around 40hz (claimed 90), and gives constant framerate drops in Wired and Wireless configuration. I bought this headset specifically for using with my Vive Ultimate trackers, and after plugging them into the headset and calibrating, I learned this feature is only supported by 3 games, and doesn't stream their tracking to SteamVR, so that feature is literally useless to me. I cant find a single reason to recommend this headset to anyone of any budget. Buy a used quest 2 for $100 and you'll have a far better experience. Even with all of the amazing features and addons for the vive xr, they can't be used if the VR headset can't do VR. don't even ask about the controllers, I'd rather have quest 3 controllers (far far worse than quest 2 controller tracking) because at least those feel quality, and the battery can be swapped, and don't leak power, and are comfortable, and the buttons actually work %100 of the time. Picking up the vive xr elite controllers makes me frown, it feels like picking up a chinese knockoff toy and knowing you're about to be disappointed.. theyre HUGE, creaky, hollow, clacky, awkwardly shaped, the tracking is BAD, and the triggers barely work at all. DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET. I got mine cheaper than a quest 3 because noone is buying them on Amazon, but I still returned it and got my $460 back. Vive is really funny pulling the prank of charging $1000 for this headset, again it's FAR worse than a $200 dollar quest 2, and the Xr price cut down to $800 should have been a price cut down to $5 because it's all the headset is worth.

Great video! You make throwing the axe look easy! Takes me like 10 tries to hit one of those rodents or a deer. Mine usually falls short or goes too high.. any tips on more accurate axe throwing? I tried setting axe assist to full but didn't help..

As a glasses wearer getting the xr elite for half price, i feel like I made the right choice except one major downside. That being no one makes 3rd party accessories for it

cant find framerate insurance. guess they took it out steaml ink whups airlink at the moment.. only reason im trying to use airlink is for dying light because it supports the airlink/SBS and steam vr doesnt...

The cheapest and, in my opinion, best method is to simply buy a WIFI6 or 6E antenna like the TP-Link Archer TX20U Plus and then open a hotspot on the PC(What has been possible since some update in Windows 10 and 11) on which the game is being played and connect directly to this WFI with the Quest 2/3.

You can add full face & eye and body tracking to the Vive XR Elite. There's also a wrist tracker where you can bring in real world objects (Bat, T. Gun etc.) into VR worlds. All in standalone mode with no messy set up and wires all over.

scanned my head with a 3D scanner. modeld a headband in Blender and printed on my 3D printer. custom face gasket and head strap. its wonderful and it do not look like crap.

i have two of the annapro headstraps (one i got for free because off the support) But these are great! and keep the charge from the quest 3

Am I the only one? I found the game very boring after a while and also quite complicated. I particularly hate puzzles.

As a assassin creed fan I was pleasantly surprised that the gameplay felt as smooth as it did I also found that the lock picking system felt normal not tedious

Your audio is only on the right channel.

The finishing moves for your character is whatever way you decide to cut out the enemy after their health pool is zero. So once they’re dead and they haven’t fallen over yet if you cut your head off or you can cut off an arm etc.

I would want to assume if you get this game on Quest 2, you can download it again once you have a Quest 3. Looks good either way!

Quick note here, using lens mode on Vive XR doesn't necessarily allow light to get inside. They provide an adjustable strap to keep tension between the headset and your head
