lol, that would be my smoke detector telling me it needs a new battery lol. maybe I should replace it :) :) At this point, I don't even notice it until someone points it out to me lol

Its actually not bad. With this Halo piece I'm using, it sits close enough to the face that, when I'm immersed in a VR environment, I don't notice the potential light that could get around the sides.

Can you talk about your experience with the halo strap with open gasket playing beat saber with passthrough. It seems cool for mixed reality but how is the stability for beat saber when there are walls.

Compared to the pico 4 what pass through is better, pico4 or quest 3?

The quest 3. I can actually read my phones screen and tv screens and what not. the Pico 4 isn't bad but the Quest 3 is better in my view.

Don't expect a huge jump especially in bad lighting. That being said the quest 3 is indeed an improvement

yup, he about nails it. There's a lot of variables that effect pass through, lighting being the big one and I also agree that it was hyped up to much leading up to release. I mean, even those who got to use Quest 3's before release under close supervision of meta said meta was probably creating perfect situations for them to use it in adding to the hype. That's why I said, manage expectations when approaching Quest 3 passthrough. That said, it's not bad, I can read most screens, I've done house cleaning and dishes and such while wearing the Q3 and had no issues, I've cooked meals using the pass through so all in all, it's not horrible, Just not the jaw dropping amazing experience I think the hype was expecting. lol
