Yer mate, it's a bit close on the inner plastic linners on lock to lock. I've found today moving it about, , I'll keep an eye on it for rubbing. If it gets bad, I'll drop them Fiat 500 16 on it, 👍

Hi Yer them ztec engine are really good,👍 that why they go in kit cars, and sometimes have yamaha R1 carbs fitted to them, they make hood power, That engine in one these would have made it a brilliant little car, the 3 cylinder engine looks to be a thorw away engine, how is that ECO 🤷‍♂️, ford messed up with this big time, just hope i can get it sorted for him fingers crossed 🤞

My thoughts exactly mate, on earth was ford thinking they designed this, probably it a good money spinner 👍 where they can just keep selling engines you think something with eco in I do hundreds of thousands of miles not just 80k and blow up some haven't got that for, look back at some old like mk2 st and standed zetec motor, they are good, so they could have just fitted one of them instead of pile of chocolate mess 🙄🤦‍♂️

Some Ford Mazda combination models are ok Ford major mistakes Anything with a wet belt Diesel egr coolers , they split and blow engines Anything with a dual mass flywheel eg early Ranger . Later models donot have them !! last 80oookm and cost 1800$ Any model with a vane oil pump , they hand grenade and blow motors

I was unsure if the blocked had cracked,after over heating, and nearly 100k I was thinking the clutch might need looking to and only 2mm left on that to 🤦‍♂️

The thermostat housing on the heads failed on this, leaked water out, and blew it, any heating past halfway cooks these, Ford do say once the belts are done, it should easy to look after, that thermostat on the heads 165 quid!

@@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY thanks for reply , i fitted a pattern one think it was about £60 , also the other one back of pump that joins it with pipe , the degas pipe fitting in the head broke too , they are not a long lasting engine if not looked after properly not just garage service as stuff is overlooked , cheers good luck.

@ you’d need the st180 loom , clocks , ecu , 6 speed box ect but there’s quite a few folks breaking complete cars, the swaps been done a few times now on the forums

This is a dilemma mark, I reckon 500 quid plus in bits, I'd need a low millage motor with 20k on, at 100k I'd need to do belt on second hand but still might be cheaper by a 60 70k motor and doing a belt job and swap this oil pump onto aswell, I'll ring ford with a list of parts and see what they say 👍

Repair what you have at least you’ll know what you’ve got don’t re use belt always fit new.second hand engine might be just as bad,they generally guarantee them but doesn’t help if you’ve got to remove and replace again so if it were mine repair what you have 👍

@gw9568 Yer, mate looking at engine with like 70k 80k on but they are need belts soon to 🙄, low millage ones are 1200 plus, so it like we are going to have a go at this, 👍

Hi I didn't get any codes on my van, it dose now run a stand map if you get a code. Some tunes can get off for 20 , 30 quid Just an EGR delete, The blue van, I think, has popped up the egr fault, but I'll get mapped out with mods still do on that engine 👍

It may have gone now, there was an offer on it with code to add the check out, it was only afew days ago 🤔 EDIT++ I've just looking at my amazon it look this one all sold out, I'll get box and look for a model number on it, another seller may have it,

No just fill this foam in with the £25 cheque and sent in, I fill in this form in the DVLA Will access to information from insurance companies and know that it was sold they generally right to the previous owner telling them someone wants to apply for a logbook, they will have a few weeks to reply that makes no difference because the insurance company paid them out all the good talk to the insurance company just a double check the chassis number an original match the information on your V62 Sometimes the DVLA can ask for it to be inspected required depends what category was it sounds a bit like my situation the logbook is still in the previous owner not handed it to the insurance company or loss it, but that doesn't matter it was sold through co- parts so you'll just have to wait 4 weeks to 5 weeks and then you will get a V5 for it in your name the DLVA will write to you telling you when a V5 will be produced they could request that the vehicles inspected are simply say the v5 will be issue 2 weeks after this letter, It abit of a waiting game for you now until it turn up, 👍

Hi mate, It just covered up at the min with weather, I was hoping to start the large turning table, until my lad car turned up, I've got the garage to put it in, so I get it out to weld it up and put it back in when not on it. It loads on at the min, but I will get on with it soon

Hi Has 215,000 miles on it at the time 👍 if they wear, you will see oil in intercooler abit ok, but lots is no good

What was the blue wire that you connected it too as i can't see a loose blue wire?

Hi Paul, I think on this injector i got the bit out, not much works on these if watch the new videos i have a nightmare try everything I have and bought to move them find the injector with the threaded top i can get out (done 5) but the other type no chance, you really need the pincher tool but 5,000 quid it not for me but was tool buy pincher and the CEO watched my video that there tool would removal it no problem a bit frustrating but at the end of the day we can only get out with what tools that we have in our garage Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍
