Sorry to see the nightmare you are having mate, I was lucky with mine even though it snapped the sleeve came out and where it snapped I could get the inside bits out with a magnet, thus just leaving me the tip to get out

Hi Mark, just watching this old vid and thought, could you not put some heat on and also hit it from the side with an air hammer whilst having all of that pressure on it with your tool? Get all 3 going at the same time perhaps? Paul from Widnes.

Hi Paul, I think on this injector i got the bit out, not much works on these if watch the new videos i have a nightmare try everything I have and bought to move them find the injector with the threaded top i can get out (done 5) but the other type no chance, you really need the pincher tool but 5,000 quid it not for me but was tool buy pincher and the CEO watched my video that there tool would removal it no problem a bit frustrating but at the end of the day we can only get out with what tools that we have in our garage Thanks for watching and subscribing 👍

I feel your pain mate. These are a bar steward to get out. You can only drill them out if they snap like yours have unfortunately.

They suffer electrolysis so adding another metal would make things worse, I would say that using a ceramic grease would be better it good from -20 to 1500c

@@ON-THE-DRIVEWAY new crank and cam sensor fitted bu garage but they gave up and said they had a guru come in and said he did a relative compression test and said compression was very marginally down on a cylinder, only done 85 k.

Have they done a leak off test to see if the injectior are dumpling fuel back down the return to the tank?

Is fuel in rail? And injectors, ? I'd do a leak test, could even be the fuel pump Solenoid on the back of the pump

Hi Mark, can I ask, would it be worthwhils flooding the valley where the injectors sit perhaps the week before trying to remove them? Would diesel work its way down the sides of the injectors during the course of a week? Thanks for your advice and your thoughts. Paul from Widnes.

Hi Paul nothing really gets down the side of the injectors they are solid tightly squeezed in with Rust and dirt. I've tried a lot of stuff. When the injectors come out, there's no way any of the penetrating fluid as got anywhere near the bottom of it, Some try heating them up really hot and pulling them out, The injector tool I need to pull the ones out with a threaded top I managed to get 5 of them out but the other type of injector way remove the top hat, I cannot get out i rang pinchers there tools about 5000 quid 🤦♂️

WOW WOW WOW.....Really can't believe that last injector Mark...with the heat it had threw the welding and yet it still snapped. Great video but feel for you in the end... I hope 1.9 injectors are the same lol. Have you ever tackled the brake pressure load compensator ??

What did we miss on the van ? The bloody earth cable not tested yet but hopefully new primer battery and earth it will go will update you Amazing what a decent computer and someone who knows these vans will show you saves the guessing game

Looks like a right shite job pal. Been there so many times. Thank god I work on the old Beemers nowadays. I always liked those platforms where the whole front end just unbolts. Bit like the Bmw mini. Similar principle.

You look like you know what you’re doing but it might be helpful if you explained what problems you were trying to solve. I know the symptoms of the problem I’m trying to research on my van but have no idea whether they’re the same as the problems you’re trying to solve. Just some friendly advice. 👍
