Bought an ST diesel 15 plate early this year. Brakes need rebuilt, droplinks are gone(in fact rear NS one snapped a week ago). Yellow light on dash for the restraint sensor…it’s 10yrs old shitbox but other than that lovely car lmao

Thats nice looking, i Dont know about my mk4 its had 2x new car batterys in as many years, i had a new clutch kit fitted at ford, because the original went too stiff to press. now 1 year on its having days when Clutch is soft, and days when it leaves my foot in pain. the dash board illumination & infotainment screen goes blank occasionally, even at motor way speed. My sensors go mad , Pre collision assist fail, Drivemode Fail. When parking the Steering smacks it self dead solid wont turn. Turn the engine off and restart and all is well again. I never had this with my 2007, 2013, 2017, Focus ST.s nevr would i buy another ford again. They cant find a fault twice now in for diagnostic.

Good video.but can you elaborate on why you think the s280 setup is better than the pumaspeed x47r please? as I am considering buying an st and going to pumaspeed

Hi mate thanks for your feedback :) We have had so many different set up Fiesta ST's in stock the X47R Pumaspeed setup is brilliant power delivery is instant and pulls well through the rev range, the power comes in quite hard from the get go, where as the S280 setup will the Collins CP5 mapping it comes in more progressively I guess to enable the power to be put down well then when it hits full boost it takes off and is incredibly strong power through the rev range. I think it is a matter of opinion and all depends what you want out of the car in your own opinion, you can't go wrong with Pumaspeed tbh, we are all different buddy, but they are all great in their own right :)

I'm probably a bit late, but generally speaking the s280 has a bigger top end, in the us they will run up to about 420whp on the s280 with 34psi of boost on e40 and methanol, that's something you definitely shouldn't attempt with a x47, they don't handle high boost as well, my x48 for example blew up at 28psi on a map from Pumaspeed, that might have just been bad luck, but I've heard a lot more about turbo failures with Pumaspeed turbos than I've heard about failing s280's

Some of those with the great 1.0 engine where Ford finally has publicly admitted through recalls in the US (not the UK, good luck with that owners) the wet belt design isn't as good as they always let us believe (but many already knew it wasn't)......

Quick question do u offer a warranty with a remap on a remaped car because I had issues in the past with a car I purchased a few years ago and the car was remaped and I wasn’t told and had issues with the map and had to spend £500 putting on a new map

Very cool cars, Not the newest Fiesta, I own the only and latest FP STX Fiesta in Switzerland. (mk8.5) The only thing I have to add about my car to anyone out there with the MK8 or 8.5, is if you’re tracking the car, Change the break pads, I can recommend Endless Pads. the stock pads will kill your disks if you take this car to the track. @essendon72 you got the focus or the fiesta? Mods to cars where I am from is very strict, damn near impossible, the changes I have made, super simple, easily reversable, 25% short shifter, highly recommended. boot struts, awesome to have, and a catch can. I havee made a few cosmetic changes as well.

@@youtuber-cc8sx Absolutly pay for the ST significantly more fun, the m140i is a savage car, absolutly brilliant, but where I am from you pay a premium for the bmw logo, so tyres, services etc all cost alot more then the actual work. I have found with my car, I can really track the hell out of it, daily drive it, and the costs for brake fluids, tyres, and some mods like my break induction cooling, my break pads "endless" are very low cost and affordable. this also allows me to not be to worried about bumps bashes and scratches. as these costs are quite low as well. and so the cost to fun ratio I feel is much higher with the ST, plus its in a really nice powerzone. you cant really drive faster then 130m so the power of the M140 is sort of lost. becuse we are living for torque. so 200ps 1100kg and 320nm vs the bmw's 500nm 1525kg puts us more or less on par if we are ripping around "lets say stelvio pass."

Very nice. I own one of the ones on the right, same colour. Keen to get a tune but worried about it stuffing warranty up. Looked at Mountune, Revo, and Dreamscience. They say they are reversable but are they completely is the question. Don't know if I can risk it...

My personal recommendation would be Mountune stage 1 330PS, I own the Mk4 ST Edition with a Mountune 330 map and it completely transforms the car and is perfectly safe. You do get a mapping tool with the upgrade so you can remove the map and revert back to stock map when ever you want too. Revo and Dreamscience are equally as good Mountune for this car is just my personal preference buddy.

@@tomm6525 yeah buddy puts the power down really well, the LSD really helps and obviously a good quality set of tyres, pointless in the wet of course but on a dry day it goes really well I have to say :)

@@essendon72 As far as I am aware the only software remap that is fully untraceable after returning to stock is the dreamscience IMAP system
