I'd argue it's the best dynamic intro in the game, The speech, the music build up, the timing of the beat drop with the pipe hitting and the name coming up just- Perfection

For an old guy I always thought he had impressive physique. Same with Awano. I always thought Shibusawa still has that semi-youthful look if that makes sense

I think we all been there. H@rn¥ as hell and will screw anything at a moments notice. So we chat online with some random landwhale and meet up at a Mexican place and eventually get down to business. We may or may not have busted a n#t in her. And then soon afterwards we are filled with regret and shame! and ended up blocking the lady lol

I've first played Yakuza 0, follow the Chronical Timeline Story. And when I fought Kuze Round 1, I put "Soy Sauce For Geese" since it honestly felt like I was fighting Geese Howard in Yakuza 0. Then when Round 2 happens in the Sewer Tunnel, I put another Geese Theme, but it was "Geese Ni Katatori". Round 3, another Geese Theme, and it was "Mustard For Geese". Round 4 was different, instead I put "Emotionless Passion - Devil Kazuya Remix Theme (Smash Bros)". Then Round 5, I used "Soy Sauce For Geese - KOF XIV Ver.", and gotta tell you that I loved how I used those Themes in Good Play on Kuze, in Yakuza 0.

I can't get enough of this soundtrack. And the way its implemented and used in the game where the tempo and intensity of the tracks bump up as you progress the level. Absolute genius. Been coming back to this very often and I don't plan on stopping :D

I really liked this version - hook, build up and the remainder of it. Yet this version of Pledge of Demon has yet to be Covered on a Guitar by anyone at KZbin.

Am I the only one who imagines Triple H delivering a similar speech to Kuze's to Randy Orten about how he's gonna try to become World Champion so long as he's alive right before trying to hit him with his Sledgehammer while this is playing in the background?

This was one of the games that I played during the pandemic, and I can say that it was one of the games that most quickly got me hooked. I already knew it was gonna be a memorable game for me right on the very first stage. I just wanted to say this and thank the people responsible for this gem, because it's truly one of the best games I've ever played in my entire life.

I just realised that I completed Celeste exactly 4 years ago today! I came to listen to the sound track after seeing it mentioned in a video and it got me thinking. I think I'm going to replay it tomorrow now XD

The philosophy behind this fight, and Yakuza/Like a Dragon in general, is what makes an objectively good story about heroes. Not just a story about honor among criminals. We love Kiryu because he's wholly devoted his entire being to doing good, despite being what society will always recognize as a criminal. However, there is no good without evil, no yin without yang. Through his story, we come to understand that he genuinely doesn't give a shit about being "The Dragon of Dojima," but paradoxically genuinely believes "there can only be one dragon," because the dragon is eternal. His "dragon" is objective good, Shibusawa's is objective evil. Throughout the franchise, Kiryu never truly wins. Each story is him winning a battle in an infinite war. Only in death does Kiryu's duty as a hero end; and so, now that the timeline of the games is forcing RGG to bring his story to an end, do we get Ichiban. He's there for Kiryu to pass the torch to, so he can finally rest. It's also why we, as fans, can't bear to see him go, yet want him to go on with respect.
