I remember watching this with my mom close to a decade ago, not really getting the jokes but loving it all the same (Richard Ayoade is a fucking amazing actor). Fast forward to now and I’m over two years in at an IT job of my own and holy shit is some of this stuff so much more funny now.

Working in IT years back, a user rang to say his computer wasn't working; even turning it off and on again didn't help - all he had was a black screen. Is the screen switched on? I never turn it off he says. Eventually I have to go and investigate only to find the the monitor isn't even plugged in. He can't understand it. Turns out the cleaner used the socket to plug in her new vacuum because it had a shorted lead.

I had the "pleasure" of watching this show in IT school because our business English teacher didn't want to do her job and hot damn! I remember hating it, but I didn't remember it was THAT bad! 🤯 That script is so awful, why are the characters point out totally obvious things five times? It's like a kids show for toddlers!

I'm a Windows user, but even in 2010, nobody used Vista for embedded hardware. Hell, most *home PC users* were already onto Windows 7 by then. No wonder he shat his pants hearing that.
