@TheDJConnect okay, let's talk like men and fathers. I have grown kids. I've been in hip-hop a long time. Is Ozzy Osburne bad for kids back in the day ? Biting bat heads off. Lol It's how you are raised, and you know that she Sexxy Redd is an entertainer. Will say anything and all to get sells. I understand you've outgrown that type of hip hop, and I appreciate you for that. I think you're a great dj. No disrespect, my brother.

@@keithdodd3570 Shes not entertaining, her music is garbage, all she talks about is fucking her baby dads and is directed to the children I was there for my neck my back, all of that shit, but at least it was good, This mumble rap is complete garbage and they are goverment plants, They have zero talent, cant make a song, put tory lanez in prison for lying, and is a democratic plant In my own opinion, There is PLENTY of good music out, sick rappers out right now, the Russ'es and stuff, but none of that is getting any play, The only way the songs chart right now is if the girl raps about getting her asshole ate out when shes on her period Its a little different now But again its just my opinion, and we are all allowed to have one! Ya bro never take any disrespect! I love the comment battles hahaha

@ you can play new hip hop. You can even play certain styles of hip hop. Not to mention there’s more than just clubs. Making your own events and playing music you and the crowd vibe with. Saying all hip hop now is negative just shows lack discography for the genre.

@milesbmorton I'm a wedding dj, playing at the club is embarrassing to me anymore But it's my hometown and I'm helping out while they find someone for some pretty solid cash I think new hip hop like ice spice and glorilla is absolute garbage, But that's the format.

Just a pro tip to new DJs... You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don't make money the goal. The money will eventually find you thru your skill via social media, referrals, Mixcloud, Soundcloud, Twitch, YT etc.... Be undeniable!

Most DJs who make a living off DJing don't play music they necessarily like.....Whether it's a club, a wedding, or birthday party...you are playing to what the crowd likes, not you. I'm 20 yrs deep, a lot of the genres I hated back in the day I've grown to appreciate. Even with new shit I continually try to grow and eventually" like" it if it works... Because it's a tool to make ppl dance and vibe out.

Its not just virtualdj users that use automix and its a misconception to think its used to dj for the dj, as well as that the sets in automix will be the same set of tracks over and over. Djay pro has settings where all u need to do is load a track and move the crossfader and djay will beat match and sync the 2 tracks. Vdj has nothing like this. Every dj software has automix... except serato... and i know this is a feature that even serato users ask for cause its a tool... like sync... its a petty argument in 2025.
