Do you know any good spots to fish on April because I love watching your vids and every April I head down to Cape Coral just wondering

Where in Cape Coral is this? I live here, always wanted to catch a peacock

NW Cape, but they're really starting to get around!

I got manhandled by a huge fish using a spinning reel and rod. Never again. Casting and conventional reels only. Can't go wrong with a natural winch. So much more power and control being able to put my thumb on the spool to stop the fish.

The Peacock population has exploded here in Basin 4. And its like they spawn every couple of months with nests along the seawalls. I can watch them pick up a bait and move it out of the nest area without getting hooked!

Oh yeah, I've been catching them in plenty of new places I haven't got them before.

I like your videos. But you’re pretty rough on our fish. Throw them in the water with a little respect. And when you hook them deep Don’t twist the hook used longer pliers.

Wheres the best place to park if fishing the spillways at burnt store?

Most people park off the side of the main road, but I usually park around the back from the backroads.

I have a lot of luck with artificial shrimp/worms, jerkbaits, swimbaits and jigs. As far as live bait goes, you cant go wrong with shrimp, pinfish and mullet.

Jeremy Wade caught a Goliath Grouper fishing for Bull Sharks in a river, I think all saltwater fish can survive in brackish water for at least a little while.
@pafishing97192 ай бұрын
I've definitely seen more saltwater species in the canals that can tolerate less salinity, then I previously thought.

Like the vids but don’t understand the necessity of pictures with every fish when you have it on camera. Pole know you caught the fish. But literally every single one has to be subjected to the photo op
@pafishing97194 ай бұрын
I think saying I take a picture of every single one I catch is bit excessive. Most of the fish I catch I don't take pictures of, It may seem that way with the clips I use, but it isn't. I do appreciate that you enjoy my videos! At the end of the day I like having video and some pictures from my fishing sessions to remember the good times!

Awesome videos, I’m going to be visiting last week of August, have a rental right on the saltwater canal. Been watching your videos to get an idea on what to bring, I see the artificial shrimp is looking like a top choice. What lb test you running? I’m looking for a decent travel rod that can pack into a carry/check in. Any advice I’ll be more then happy!
@pafishing97194 ай бұрын
I usually use 20lb braid for the saltwater canals.
@pafishing97194 ай бұрын
If it's brackish/saltwater, I have a lot of luck on Artificial shrimp, swimbaits, small spoons, jerkbaits/jerkshads, big and small jigs, and around 6 inch topwater plugs. As far as real bait goes, you can't go wrong with shrimp, pinfish, mullet, and smaller crabs to fish around dock pilings for sheepshead. For rod/reels I like to use medium heavy - medium light with 2500 size spinning reels. Hope this helps!
