Let me give you all an update in case you are revisiting this/ I was with Vic personally Saturday Sept 23, 2023 in Kingsland Ga at Neutral Zone Studios. He posed for pictures with me and my family, gave a two hour tour of the Star Trek Facility. I found him to be full of life, energy and happiness. He is a survivor and a warrior. While I feel his pain in watching this.......I also saw his strength on Saturday. Rest assured that God has his back and has lifted him above the pain.

If I were there I would get up in tears to and walk up to him and hug him saying you did nothing wrong people like that only want attention and i walk out crying

I know it's been a couple years since all this crap has happened, but watching this again on my "watch later" and it really is heart breaking to know that he's pretty much been kicked out of so much of the anime that he helped make great. Nobody is perfect, he made some mistakes (other voice actors have made worse) and many went along for the ride and just attacked this dude. I'll miss him in FMA and would like to talk with him and find out how he got to voice Broly lol. He killed it as Broly, but it's just one of many discussions I'd like to have with him. Slainte Vic!

It’s disheartening to see someone’s mask break this bad. I want to be a voice actor while being a music teacher, but by seeing this scares me more to be one since this is what I may have to go through. This very situation isn’t something Vic should experience. I had a friend that told me about that he did something to her, but she didn’t specifically say. So I went ahead and went through research to see both sides of the story. Now that I see how he interacts through vids and how he corresponds within social media I can see that he’s a genuinely nice person. I want to meet him someday, but too bad I can’t.

Yo I'll be real some of the pics I've seen of Vic hugging fans he even looks slightly uncomfortable. Slightly. He still smiles and is polite and makes that fan's day. He hugs because he's kind, not as a fucking sexual thing. He's just warm and friendly and some people go for touch as a friendly gesture. I used to HATE hugs. But these 2 girls I was friends with in middle school hugged me all the time. And after a while, I started hugging back. Now I hug everyone. Granted, I do put my arms out first and give them a questioning look first, and let them come in, but still. Hugs are natural to give for some people. And for Vic it's like breathing. And furthermore. HOW MANY VOICE ACTORS, KZbinRS, AND ACTORS, HUG PEOPLE CONSTANTLY IN PHOTOS?!?!?! So by this logic, they should ALL stop. And frankly, the only time it should upset someone, and it be understandable that they are upset, is if they are autistic or a victim of past sexual assault. Both of which likely aren't comfortable enough to be in a loud packed anime convention anyway without a friend, family member, or guide, someone they trust to keep them safe, who would communicate beforehand for them that they aren't comfortable with touch. Also I live for the day I get a Vic hug. This man inspired me in so many ways and his performance in Full Metal Alchemist saved me from suicide and depression in middle school. It touched my heart in a way that stuck with me. He inspired me by his personality and talent to want to be a VA and make people happy as well. He is literally one of my idols.
