Thank you so much for the video. It is useful and easy to grasp. However, I have a question. I tried this angle theta variation for my MIM structure and I obtained some results that includes minus and over 1 reflection values. I was only expecting between 0 and 1, I wanted to ask if you encountered such a situation before? I didnt calculate brewster angle since my simulation consisted of 1 um broad bandwidth.

The negative sign comes because of the transmission () function. If you place a power monitor at a position where the forward propagating wave encounters the function gives you positive. On the contrary, placing the monitor in the direction opposed to the propagation the function gives you negative, which is quite obvious for reflected wave. It’s a simple numerical convention. Therefore, to get a proper result for reflection just place a negative sign before the transmission () function in the script

In the output window, where graphs are appearing find the name of the graph. Right click on that graph name. Measuring cursor window will appear. You can choose single or double cursor. You can measure time period using those cursors. Inverting the period you can get the frequency. Good luck

@@adishrarlecturesonelectron7503 As an ex-student of Heritage, I can say that this presentation was much better than the usual classroom lectures, Sir. I think it was good but I already know the basics of Fourier series so I may not be the ideal person to give a review. Those who are first-time learners may be better avle to give feedback. I am reachable at [email protected], if anyone is interested.
