Such a dark scene. The guy behind the entire city, created everything around you, has nothing to lose anymore, to the point to where he makes you kill him for the sake of making a point that you're nothing more than just a slave, obeying a man's choice. Constantly telling you that phrase with each hit from the golf club. "A man chooses. A slave obeys." Nothing about the pain, or the world around him falling to darkness. Simply those set of words.

There's a big mistake in Spanish translation jajajja im not so good at English but in Spanish he says something similar to do you want to? It might not be so different for you but it is a big difference bc in Spanish it sounds ruder than in English

It's interesting to see Flynn's first thoughts directly after what happened with Clu. He genuinely seems devastated that his creation would do something so terrible.

I felt so much goddamn anger when immediatly after his death, Atlas says "now would you kindly put the key in that goddamn machine?!", like damn has that phrase always been there? Since the very beginning of the game? How did i never realise?

Did anyone other than me think he switched into Atlas when he got his first whack like it was a mirage Ryan until he was whacked and looked like Atlas I thought in this scene Ryan was getting a device to mess with his memory to make him think Atlas was him until he hit him with the club which scared me because I was attached to Atlas until the self-destruct sequence so I was shocked but then I noticed he was still Ryan. This is a very vague comment little people would understand but I hope you did anyway

Can't help but feel like Andrew Ryan was trying to save us right here, trying to snap us out of the sleeper agent indoctrination, being his technical child after all.

What I honestly like about this scene is in the silent background that actually fits in lore. The vita-chamber. Andrew Ryan purposefully disabled his in range. You come across it. He no longer wants to live, he wants to get this message to Jack across even though it causes his death. A vain, power hungry man abandoning his source of regeneration. He knew what was coming and stared it in the eye without conviction.

People don't even realize how deep this scene actually is the fact that you even made it to this scene means you were a slave to the story you obeyed every command to get up to this point.

Imagine if Atlas had not relied on it so much as to give away its constant use like if he had simply said "please" to some of the more obvious objectives that were inevitable to be carried out instead, it would have made it less of a pattern but also wouldn't give the game away
