My opinion i think Ninjago dragon's rising is TRASH. Here's why: why would they add a 💀💀 kid like Arin he's such a wannabe and think he is the main character. And Sora.. She's not a big deal but its annoying bcz our only gurl that we all love is Nya. Why would Master wu gone missing?? We all love that dude. And i feel rlly bad for Nya and the other ninjas bc basically it feels that they are replacing Jay for Arin (kinda..). Nya loves Jay but how coupd they leave him 😢😢 if you've been a ninjagi fan since s1 you would understand. Also, how dare u make cole like a 💀💀 geo dude? I thought he was w/ Nya or that princess! actually in the last djinn, they did good fanservice by introducing a new Djinn, and his presentation and actions actually kind of align perfectly with Skybound even though Arrakore and Nadakhan we're different characters entirely. Sure you can comment on his design being red and whatnot for the purpose of criticizing of IF they remember their history (or make that history to be accurate to the old seasons). But you can't say that they don't remember the previous wilfilm seasons (or atleast, not for Dragons Rising) since they well established that they can utilize the old seasons into something new and engaging, if they can do that, then i optimistically believe that Morro will have the same Treatment to the next seasons

You know, the more I think about it, the more I realize DR season 2 tries to do what other shows have been doing were one season can focus on two thing, one in the autumn part and the other in spring. The best exemples I can think of are shows like the flash (from season 5 onward) and once upon a time (from season 3 onward), where there are two storylines but do feel connected, just like crusty said.
