Id love to see it be not just a fighting tournament but other things (like chapter 8 of Minecraft story mode season 1). This would mean there could be another ninja ball run, explaining why we got the new sort of ultra stealth raider

That would definitely be a good way of separating it from Tournament of Elements. Since this is a public event it seems there be more than just fighting. We see Sora doing an obstacle course and the ninja climbing. So races seems likely too which would explain the set.

I haven’t been this excited for a Ninjago season in a long time. If they somehow top Tournament of Elements (which is my fav season) with this. I might actually consider DR S2 my favorite Ninjago Season. S2 P1 already is 3rd for me, so this could bring it to the top

My main issue with this potential part 2 of the season is how they’re making it too similar to the tournament of elements and part of the plot being that if you loose, your powers get stolen in someway shape or form, andd finding out where kai is, reminds me of the subplot of the ninja trying to figure out where is Zane which was the reason they participated in the tournament. What made dragons rising stand out before was its uniqueness within its concept as a whole. Hopefully I’m wrong about my assessment on this upcoming second part to season 2. I want it to stand out as its own without being another season that has the same concept as season 4. That’s just my opinion this. Btw I love your analysis in this vid
