The needle is blunt and "punching" the fabric. He is adjusting the stitch width with the needle in the fabric ( not good ). The machine needs lubrication and adjustment.. What is the point ???

I’ve never done the smashing technique. I just wait it out and it eventually goes away but comes back. And it’s painful! Was yours painful? Thanks!
