Many skins are few thousand and above. For example, Gemstones are just rare patterns of dopplers and gamma dopplers. The problem with this is it means Valve is not afraid to destroy value. Which will hinder confidence of people buying into pricier skins.

I remember when anubis package first went on sale, the eye of horus was like 3-4k usd, it's odds of unboxing was 1 in 4000 ish. The anubis packages also costs more than these new collections if you discount the gameplay time (1.99 vs 1.6). That depreciated over time, now the least expensive factory new is less than 470 usd. If we take the same ratio of expected value to price, which is 1 in 4000 x 2 dollars, it comes out to 8000 dollars, then if we take the 4k original price, its about half the expected value when it first went on sale. Applying that to the new package, 1.6 x 781 divided by 2, that would be 624. But if you add in the premium for game play time then discount for the fact that the fade only comes in factory new and minimal wear. I think anywhere between 624 and 1000 is probably possible.

That would make a lot of sense. Even still, there are likely colors that are rarer than others. 100,000 possibility is a lot though, a gold chicken would be quite popular I'd imagine

@@SkinomiCS2 Of course due to unboxes being random there will be a slight differences in quantities amongst major colour nuances, but those disparities should be very minimal if a lot of charm unboxings happen due to the theory of large numbers. I agree there should be some colours that are more sought after than others, but the major price disparities should be depending mostly on overall supply and rarity tier more than on variants within the same charm. 100,000 seems to be a lot, but it's important to note that pattern 50,000 and 53,000 will be identical to the naked eye, so there won't be really 1 variant per pattern like we are used to on pattern based skins PS: Yeah the gold ones are super rare for sure, I didn't notice there was some gold ones until I checked again, these should be waaaaay more rare than the rest
