I still refer to her many recipes in 2025! Im Mexican & totally relate to the many recipes & traditions of our culture. I recently seen She passed on Christmas. How wonderful to have had her in your life. My own mother was born in the same year of 1934 and currently (2025) is still alive & doing well. We just celebrated her 90th birthday last November of 2024! I relish every day I have with my mama & feel blessed to still have her in my life. Aren’t we the lucky ones!?

How do you let it boil for 15 minutes? Every time after about 5 minutes I always have to keep putting more and more water so it doesn’t burn. Do you lower the heat once it starts boiling? Then cook for 15 minutes?
