Good job. My SL55 only has 33k and has a slight wobble, throwing the belt off on hard pulls. Did you consider a same diameter aftermarket pully, maybe lighter and stronger? I cant believe mine is failing with low milage.

not a CWA400, the 400 does NOT have a bolt on impeller housing. I think yours is probably a CWA200, it has a bolt on housing. and i think the flow of the 400 is twice the flow of the 200.

Screen may restrict water flow and or cause pump cavitation. You want to put bars in front of inlet almost like a jail cell.

Hi there buddy I’ve got an intermittent rough idle on my sl55 feels like it wants to stall sometimes but if I turn it off and back on again it idles fine again for a while then back to rough after driving it, I’ve replaced the plugs, map sensor, crank and cam sensors still no change also have a fuel smell in the cabin, no stored codes, any ideas? thanks in advance

Get some DuPont brake pad paste from Mercedes, apply it to the back of the pad , it works really well for quieting the squealing noise of your vehicles brakes.

My 04 CLK 55 has the ability to shift gears manually with paddles in any driving mode, and as far as I know its completely stock, no aftermarket tune. Could it be so that US spec cars don't have this feature since mine was sold new in Germany?

If you have a 77mm cluch pully and you install cluchless also 77mm would you need a retune ?

What are your plans for adding the sway bars? The Black series has steel springs with swaybars. Without the ability to tie the two sides of the suspension together could cause undesirable effects in a hard corner.
