Some moto g31s are a little different than this one in the video. Mine doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor on the back. My fingerprint sensor is on the right side and acts as the power button. I have learnt a lot here. This the best replacement screen on the moto g31 I have seen. Thank you.

Hi, I appreciate your video and the valuable information, but I have a question. My battery says 2.84V. Does this mean it's bad? The phone was not charged for a long time with a broken screen and now I replaced it with a new one (new screen), but it's stuck in this boot loop. Could that be the problem or is that 2.84V normal? I ask this to buy a new battery. Thanks for answering and I subscribe.
@zul_fix10 күн бұрын
Hey there, fully charged should be around 4,4v. If it was left a long time without use probably needs a jump start but in order to do that you will need specific hardware to connect it. So it most likely is no longer receiving a charge so might as well to just buy a new battery.

It refers to the NEC Tokins so might as well replace them or just add the caps like i did on this video.
@LiamWhitАй бұрын
I'll do that, when I add them should I add it to the exact place where u put yours? What exact resistors did you use. I have thermal pads and paste sitting around so I'll do this
@zul_fixАй бұрын
@@LiamWhit You can place them anywhere around the Original NEC Tokins as long as you have the negative side of the caps on the negative side of the board and the positive side of the cap on the positive side of the board. Where the Negative is the inside where the tokins are and the positive the otherside of the line. 470uf tatalum capacitors are what i use.
@LiamWhitАй бұрын
@@zul_fix thanks seems straight forward! Where u put yours just the 2 with thermal pads ontop do u reckon that will do the trick? Is it just giving the capacitors extra strength in simple terms. Had to add in. Instead of using grinding tool would a small flathead screwdriver be okay to use, have seen others do that
@zul_fixАй бұрын
@@LiamWhit Hi again, yes tthe thermal pads adds extra strenght cools them down and also avoids continuity in case the solder toches the plate which shouldnt do. If you dont have a grinding tool you can scrape it with something sharp, make sure you dont go too deep though.

At least you were brave enough to give it go albeit a fail. We learned by our mistakes. NSC YT has made a good tool for it. My home made one works very well and made like NSC concept with art painting knife but I bent the tip of the blade and the process of bending the tip is by gas burner and then bend and cool. Then hand sharpen with a traditional knife sharpener. Cheap and effective. Cut Rsx like butter I heat lid of cell for about 400c to 500c 40 to 60 seconds and then cut.

I already thought of buying the NSC one, has i dont have a gas burner at home otherwise would give your tip a go.
@jazero-u7p2 ай бұрын
@@zul_fix The NSC one is effective but I do not know the cost. You can try to make it, use gas stove or small plumbers torch gas blower to heat the metal let it cooled a little bit and then bend 10cm size with pliers in L shape as its is easy that way and dip in water to cool and repeat until right angle is achieved in L shape . Then file or sharpen.

Yeah, this is 100% on Sony‘s end. I’ve just not given it a good quality of thermal paste that needs to run high demanding games efficiently especially this was made for 4K TV audiences. It's really difficult to repair these days. Not only you need to have steady arms, good eyes and at least semi-professional grade equipment. You also have to get a good parts, because the ones you order from AliExpress often comes from a faulty batch, or even completely fake relabeled chips altogether. And everything is programmable these days, from PWM controllers and multi-controllers to microcontrollers and you have to somehow get the firmware from original burned ICs and program the new chip.

You can replace only analog mechanism, while keeping stock 4pin hall sensor housing. Ofc if problem in hall sensors or magnets - it's over. This mod may require some efford, cuz mounting pole on potentiometer-based analog module not the same as hall-based ds3 pole, it's a bit smaller and doesn't have locking clip, so you need glue it or something. Idk why no one ever tried to mod 3-pin stick and ppl still buying 10-15-years old used analogs, which feel awful
