They released a revision to the Pro that changed the fan profile, the entire time I had my Pro it was never that loud.

Yes i believe they reprogrammed it to let it go hotter before the fan kicks in.

Yeah, this is 100% on Sony‘s end. I’ve just not given it a good quality of thermal paste that needs to run high demanding games efficiently especially this was made for 4K TV audiences. I did that with my PS4 Pro and I’ve noticed a complete difference after just re-pasting it. I didn’t even have to replace the thermal pads. It ran completely stable without any issues.

Ya thats a major defect on the apu ive read that its not properly straight on top thats why it spreads the paste out to the sides.

Thermal pads are on coils and not on mosfets. Try again.

Nice spot man i have placed them on the wrong place, thanks for pointing that out, we all make mistakes. It not noisy anymore at least!!
