I remember as a spectator seeing you at a local race in Claremont Ca. It was a while back, about 12 years ago. I’m an older rider from the 1980’s, I was twenty back than. I’ve always seen potential in young riders. You stood out to me in that race, which you won. I remember in 1976. I saw a kid win a criterium in Pasadena on a 1 mile course around the city hall. This kid had talent, he was a intermediate by the name of Greg Le Mond. To me you show the same strength and character, from when I first saw you. I’ve been following your racing career ever since on KZbin, I always hoped to see you in Europe. You did great! Congratulations!

@ I remember riding the Rose Bowl training ride when Thurlow would pull the pack around for ten laps. I was lucky if I ever did all ten laps. I think lap times were around 7’ something minutes. At 65, I was staying a few laps at the Rose Bowl ride a couple of years ago, not the same speed anymore. But there are allot of strong riders out there. I have high hopes for another Greg LeMond. 👍🏻👍🏻😁

The idea that you attacked world tour riders is dope. Do you think if you didn't burn so many matches, you could have hung on until the end? The awesome part is that you are a better rider from this experience.
@nationsnumber1beast

Haha yeah it was cool nah I don’t think I’ve done enough long races to hang in until the end. It was 175 miles and the races I do are like 40 so I’m not prepared because just training is not enough you need to race those kind of races to be ready for the time and distance.
