Great information. I'm onboard with your program and this is a must-try. I'm not a water drinker, but I'll give it my best shot. Lol. Also, not much for 'cooked' veggies, but I love raw veggies. Veggies are veggies, so I do like a good salad. I can't wait to get started. Thank you for all of the good info. You're a gem and we appreciate you.

it's a very good and nutritious hair treatment, highly recommend for that reason. My daughters hair is 3b, but the treatment does not straighten the hair. yes it makes it shiny and soft, but the straightening is actually done with the blow dryer. I still gonna do it again, just to keep her hair healthy and shiny, maybe next time I use a straightening iron, as she wants straight hair so desperate.

Hello. Single dad to a beautiful black girl. I’ve been twisting her hair myself for 5 years. My daughter wants to have straighter hair and she asked me if I could have them relaxed. I came across your video and I’d like to try it. She’s got 4c hair. If I do this method and her hair gets wet from being in a pool for example, will it go back to being 4c hair? Thank you for the advice and creating these videos. I’ve spent hours learning how to do twists and styles and I’m always looking on how I could better my technique for my kiddo. Cheers and thank you again!

This is amazing! Can’t wait to try it!! Thank you!! Quick question, after applying Sandy, do I just rinse it out or do I shampoo it again? I believe it was just rinsing out but would love some clarity when you get a chance. Again thank you for this!

I miss her so much. I was watching her old videos from 11 years ago, back when she was teaching the black cummunity how to take care of our hairs. and Love ourselves. everything she said had some science proof behind it. she's so intelligent. and so kind to share her knowledge with us. the other day I was watching her natural hair relaxer video & it just got me tearing up.

@@shalenadiva wow, omg first of all HIIII 👋😊, I hope you're doing great. Sending much love from Canada. ❤ if i'm not disturbing or anything, Do you know if there is any way i can grow hair on spots i've never grown before ? i'm asking this because i'm really conscious about my forehead and want to reduce the appearance. ( non-surgically, because i ain't got money for all that. ) but the situation is not a " growing hair back " type. it's more like growing hair on new spots that don't even have follicles. is that possible Miss Shalena?

You know what’s crazy…literally everything we need for our natural hair to flourish is literally in the environment around us. Every ingredient she put in her hair is the same ingredients you can eat…which might I add is healthy for you! This just blows me mind truly🩷They try to make us think Afro-kinky hair is sooo unmanageable and ugly but it’s how we treat it that makes all the difference. I had to search through a boatload of product pushing videos just to find the au naturale on. God bless you ❤️

I know that this video is 10 years old, but I JUST ran across it today while sitting here taking faux locs out of my hair. I’ve been natural for more than 20 years, and I’m always looking for natural methods to care for, and maintain my, and my twin daughters’ hair. I just wanted to let you know that I am very inspired by your testimony, and your life journey, and despite me being very late to the game, I am now a new subscriber. I can’t wait to see what other wonderful things you’ve accomplished since this video, and even though I don’t know you, I just want you to know that I’m proud of you sis. 😊 Thanks for the video!
