@ AaronBlaiseArt if you have made a video on why you prefer TV paint over Toon boom or any other animation program, I’m curious to see it. :) if any such video exist, can I have the title and I can go search for it on my own?

What happens after the film finishes at the special event? Will it get an upload on the web because I'm from a different country. Thanks.

I know this was a live stream, but as far as learning to paint grass, it would have been extremely helpful if the viewers would just shut up and leave him alone to explain what and why he's doing, instead of peppering him with non-stop irrelevant questions. ("What video games do u play?" Who gives a flip!)

1:40 This is false. The entire point of the video is based on a false assumption. Current (or 2023) AI might not "feel" emotions, but it _is_ going through the motions fine enough to be able to replicate it. And AI is only ever going to get _better_ than it is today. Today, you are seeing the worst AI will ever be. One day-not even _that_ far into the future in all likelihood-it might learn to feel emotions the same way, too.

The question is, so people appreciate this effort and work, or do they go with everything, also if it was made with the least effort possible. I really hope you are right.

OH MY GOSH, THIS LOOKS BEAUTIFUL?? It feels like we're getting a taste of good old Disney days, oh my goodness ;; I definitely look forward to this, this is absolutely stunning already!

I think it will because of something totally different. You still believe in telling that one story. AI will offer you not only that story but will also offer the kids to interact with the experience of a movie. It's very well possible that some animators will become conceptors but even that is not something that needs to be given to animators because AI can give me 500 designs in a day with 500 different concepts. And AI can be as woke as the animators are, maybe even better!

Seeing Linkin animation, right now, this video has aged like milk. The audience will love the human touch in animation, but everyone funding the animation would rather cut costs with a bot. Ah well, indie animation will have a boom in this environment.

Mr. Aaron, this looks amazing. I wish all animation today looked like this, I see the care for the craft. If I ever see new movies or new tv shows try to create 2D it looks so much worse (the artists are clearly untrained). These movies have more money than ever but from my observation they put less effort in. I noticed in the description you said that this was done digitally with an app, and I thought this looked somewhat digital while watching it. Am I crazy for thinking that if the animation is hand drawn on paper it comes out looking like it has more depth? I'm not sure how to articulate it, but it seems like with digital I have a harder time distinguishing between foreground and background.

LABOR of PASSIOn, see it´s worth something not only for its beauty but for the human effort it takes. You take away the human labor in it and you take away its worth.

It’s crazy how much work goes into hand drawn animations and the end result can be so short (so many hours of drawing for a few seconds of content 😭)

It's alive and well in Japan. I don't know why Disney stopped doing it. I feel like I'm watching a video game when I watch computer animation. Then look at the traditional animation in "A Whole New World". There's never been a CGI scene as beautiful as that animation.
