Crazy that the tuners were an issue since they’re Gotoh tuning machines. The only thing I don’t like about Heritage is their use of metric parts like bridges etc. Other than that minor issue, their guitars outshine Gibson as far as value per dollar spent. Resale is where it hurts, but then again, I don’t really buy guitars with selling them in mind.

Yes, although from what I read, Ray Parker lost, and it's widely known. I believe it as well, as fact. Ray avoids talking about it like the plague, using the "gag order", as a front. His true genius, in my opinion, is the song, "Jack and Jill"! Dang I love that jam!

Superman of bass. The timing and the taste… quietly laying down bass lines that stick in your head forever. There was one bass line from the 80s I would randomly hum for decades, and misremembered it being from a Sade song. I kept scanning thru her catalog and couldn’t find it. One day a few years ago, I was listening to a live singer/guitarist performing a variety of R&B and Latin stuff using some tracks/looper. She began playing “Mystery” by Anita Baker and my head exploded. 😂 THAT is the bass line that’s been in my head forever. So glad to see this video. And if you don’t know “Mystery” go listen to it.

Wait so let’s say you got the vertex buffer and ran it first, but you use boss pedals including a TU3…is it then all for naught?
@VertexEffectsIncКүн бұрын
As far as the input buffer output impedance is concerned, yes. But you still have the right loading on the input that your guitar hits, so that's half the battle of the input buffer. Where it really makes a difference (where a TU3 or any other input buffer alone can't do) is you have 3 possible output buffers depending on your use case, so no matter what happens on the board, at least your longest cable run back to your amp (and/or amp effects loop) is also conditioned by the same high quality buffers. If you do have a Boss Tuner, I'd build a y-cable and use it as a tuner out fed off the input buffer.
@deefor3lp14 сағат бұрын
@@VertexEffectsInc Ah, I see. This makes sense. It would indeed handle half the battle from the guitar to the input on the vertex buffer. Then the Y comes right out the guitar output on the interface with one split going to the input of the tuner, and the other into the beginning of your signal chain. Then even if you have subsequent Boss pedals or other pedals with buffers on the board, it goes back through the interface as the final step before hitting the amp to condition it. Did I get that right? Thanks for the response!
