Coded's story may be completely skippable without any context lost, but there is one thing I liked about it that these cutscenes highlighted. Sora called Mickey by name instead of constantly referring to him as "Your Majesty" or "King Mickey". I personally always found that a tad annoying, especially since Mickey had asked Riku to stop with the formalities back in Chain of Memories but never asked Sora to. Here, their friendship felt more natural. Just look at the way Sora lit up and relaxed when he recognized Mickey's voice upon meeting him in person.

A new song with a new opponent and setting, as well as U-1 and Kirah working together feels unreal, as if I've seen something secret hidden away, possibly behind a full completion requirement.

Regal is one of my favorites sadly I never saw him get much action in the game since my party was already full with my other favorites (Lloyd, Genis, Zelos, and Presea.) it’s a shame the party can only have 4 members.

For someone with light or divine power, it is actually a relief that her weakness or flaw is being a clutz. There are already quite a few characters that are light or divine based, yet bad or evil.

SPOILERS! It's a bit hard to understand Zelo's personality in a single play through as you really need both his Flanoir scene and is Betrayal scene. Zelos believes that being the chosen has ruined his life. His mother did not want a child and only birthed him due to the church and cruxis's involvement. When Zelos's mother was killed by Seles's mother in an attempt to kill Zelos (Because she wanted her child to be the next chosen) the last thing Zelos's mother said to him was "You shouldn't have been born." Listen to his dialogue throughout the skits in the game. He's constantly explaining how he gets what he wants because he's the chosen. Zelos has had next to no control over his life because he's the chosen and he knows he's expected to sacrifice it if Tethe'alla becomes the declining world. Despite what her mother did he loves his step sister Seles and knows that as long as he's the chosen she will spend her whole life cooped up in that church. So Zelos has formed a plan with the various organizations with one goal in mind: Stop being the chosen. He is leaking information to Cruxis and The Renegades AND joining the party with that goal in mind and he plans to side with whoever is most likely to win. It's only when he betrays you it really shows just how much he LOATHES what being the Chosen has done to him. When you beat him he's not even mad. "It's okay, to tell you the truth, I was getting pretty tired of living anyway." His goal of getting Seles out of the abbey is also achieved this way.
