I’ve heard bad things about Katsukity, like it not working in the long run. Just purchased a used one, but im shook. Hows your capture card holding up?
@imackshungames4304 Жыл бұрын
Currently working perfectly fine. Probably worth mentioning that I bought it used off of ebay, so the fact that it does work perfectly fine is a pretty good testament to the quality of the capture card itself, unless of course the seller didn’t use it much.

@@imackshungames4304 Yo bro, I got my capture card. Was wondering how to get recordings to detect audio? Im on a MacBook Pro, but the screen recording software i’ve tried completely mute the sound. Guessing I need to connect a mic from 3DS to PC?

@@_V0RT3X I personally feed the audio from the 3DS into a “Ground Loop Noise Isolator” and then into some USB Sound Card I bought a while back. At some point, there was some hissing that was noticeable during quiet moments, but I think I’ve got around that somehow, or it isn’t too noticeable at certain levels. I use OBS to record, so it’ll have audio so long as I have it recording the proper audio device. In the software used to display the 3DS, you can transmit sound through the same USB connection that is used for video, it is just disabled by default. I think it may not be recommended, because it might affect the capture somehow. Either way, you’d have to make sure your screen recording software can pickup on the audio device that your 3DS is transmitting to, which will depend on your setup.

How was the latency? Where you playing on the PC screen or on the console itself?
@imackshungames4304 Жыл бұрын
Interestingly enough, the latency is pretty much nonexistent, or at the very least, I don't notice that much of it, which is kinda surprising. I just uploaded a video where I test what it is like to play Smash 4 while only looking at the capture window and I was pleasantly surprised that it is pretty much perfect, most of the mistakes I made were because it is kinda difficult to move the way I want using the 3DS controls. If anything, there may be 1 frame of latency, if that.
