lol Kursk was a military & strategical disaster , the region is just woodland with scattered villages & was only lightly defended .After Russia redeployed troops the Ukrainians have now lost over half their men, the majority of military hardware & have become separated into pockets unable to retreat or be resupplied .Ukraine wasted elite troops better served & needed on the front line for a stupid stunt that was strategically unimportant & gained nothing. Its unlikely they will last the winter & just a matter of time before they have to accept all of Russia terms , when Zelenskeyy could have settled this at the start by agreeing not to join NATO , remain neutral & walked away with Ukraine still intact . Ukrainians KIA 600,000 ☠ Russians KIA 150,000 ☠ It was obvious from the start what would happen after Russia's invasion of Georgia in 2008 over the EXACT same reason of joining NATO , just like the US has its Monroe doctrine (no hostile troops /bases on its borders that nearly caused WW3 over Russian missiles on Cuba) Russia was never interested in occupying either long term & face another ongoing resistance like Afghanistan . You cant win against a superior military with 5x the population . But the US was more than happy to see Russia weakened & support Ukraine's men doing the fighting & ☠ . Boy has that failed now too with its standing military increasing from 150k to 1.2 million & the BRICS trading partners that now surpass the west's G7 in GDP.

Your article appears to refer to the destruction of a Pontoon Bridge. The Kursk Bridge is NOT that bridge. Why then did you put the Kursk Bridge in the Pre-views leading readers/viewers to believe it was the Kursk Bridge that got destroyed. MISLEADING PREVIEWS.
