So interesting you mention greenery that often. That was also my impression after visiting Lagos: Why are there no trees here? Completely different in Accra, which has lots of vegetation im comparison.

When you go to Kumasi everything there is the biggest in Africa including their heads. They’d even tell you the tallest man in Africa is from Kumasi. There are bigger and nicer malls in Accra. I am sure someone scripted what you had to say.

Intercity buses have always been available in Ghana since independence. The first was STC state Transport Company. I have used it since i was born in the 60s. The unique thing about STC is you buy book your seats ahead of schedule trip. They are so prompt you can set your watch with their movement. In fact they pass every village at an exact time that villages used to use them as a clock. Goggle old Setra buses to see first images of original STC buses
