Honestly I would love to buy your all classes but my financial situation doesn't allow me to do that. But I am happy with free ones. Please keep doing more free master classes as it helps those who cannot afford the premium ones.

Thanks, i think we can get rid of last switch by using start and end frame detail attributes on the file cache node in the frame range parameter,

I think that would not 'erase' any old cached files like the empty switch does.

Yeah you can do it this way but as paul_colton said, you don't overwrite the old redundant frames with empty frames. So I prefer the switch method

you can start with a small explosion and go from there. we had to optimize a lot to get some of the renders done.

Question: Will the Axiom pyro plugin be used in this workshop? I own a license of Axiom, I am just curious. I'm guessing you don't need Axiom, but is it still preferred over the Houdini default tools?

a few scenes have axiom but mostly its pyro. you dont need axiom as everything can be adjusted to pyro. 🔥

This is ultra helpful! The most difficult thing for me is not VEX but to get the right formula and I was needing this averaging with weights in a loop a time ago and I could not make it work because my formula for weighting was wrong now with this I can correct it, so for that thanks!

What are the green thick circles on the nodes?

They are badges that you can configure with D key in network editor. It's for showing you when a node is time based evaluation. Letting you know the geo is changing or parameters are changing over time.

Exactly right, and I always make mine huge because time dependency is SUPER important for optimising setups so I want to know at a glance where my network is bottle necking
