The story in the original was that Vidya was not a dancer, just a happy go lucky newlywed bride. She was either hallucinating she was in fact an ancient dancer or was possessed by a ghost who used to be a dancer for a king. So her less than perfect dance made perfect sense for the story then. And now they brought her back as a dancer opposite Madhuri Dixit, poor girl. Who could take Madhuri on, lol, no one? I wonder why the story demanded this dance-off and why it is marketed as one.

Of boy did she dance. I feel like she danced in these 8 mins more than other actresses danced in their full careers lol. I don't think any of the current bollywood heroines can even attempt to pull off this number.
