I thought Manisha was the perfect muse for this song. Like I literally cannot imagine anyone else in her place. The ladakh landscapes with her pristine face adds to the film’s aesthetic so much. And Manisha’s raw dance is what makes this video sing. I don’t think it was supposed to be perfect. Manisha’s femme fatale personality with the right amount of sensuousness and rawness was what they were going for. Manisha’s dance was full of passion too. Passion need not always be ‘perfect’. Manisha is one of the greatest actresses ever. You should see her performance in this film. And wasn’t the strongest dancer but brings in so much authenticity to this with her dance.
