this game was my childhood on xbox 360, I never understood why I couldn't find it until I realised it was a spin off and not an actual civ game

My fav broken strat in this game was playing "its money that matters", rushing hanging gardens and colossus, then rushing spies and stealing the AI's starting gold. Lol Then you rush a few more building and wonders like the east india trade company... Easy wins on deity every time. lol

Since my computer can barely handle Civ 5 without crashing every 20 mins, this is my go-to. I love it!

When i was a kid we didnt really have much money but i LOVED playing the demo of this over and over again on the xbox

I put to many hrs into this game. For example I discovered that there are either some or all maps are pre built not random. Also the game devs were lazy. They auto build military units/telaport them. Most obvious examples will be with navy. A gally that has not moved for 3 eras all of a sudden sends late game troops with guns but has not moved since pikes were invented.

This game introduced me to Civ. If they ever make a Civ Rev 2 ⅓, I'm there.

I got this game for free through the games with gold back on my 360 when I was a kid. Loved it

Cheeky cheat play as Zulu make a save game. Scout out of cigs capitals, reload game bum rush the capitals since their only unit will be exploring and their capital will be empty with no units station.

I played this game a lot and wished it was ported. Sure; it's stripped down but it's quick, easy to play and fun. More over it's a good starting point for someone intimidated by the main series.

This game actually introduced me to the series ironically it was on PS3 I think? Then I went to 5 and was so confused by the change I thought it was a mainline game for the longest lol

The version of this game for the DS was the first civilization game I ever played, and man I was hooked. I struggle going back to it now because I've since moved on to the mainline titles, but I still have a lot of fond memories with it.

I never owned this.. I only played the demo, which limited you to the two easiest difficulties, and the year 850, or something similar. I know i managed to win military and economic victories within the time-limit,, which defiinitely felt like acomplishments.

this is the only one available for the xbox 360 so i got like 300 hours on it, pretty fun, great memories!

I got into Civ because this game was free on Xbox live. For that reason I absolutely hate it.

It was my first civ game, but civ 6 for me is the definitive experience so far. Really looking forward to Civ 7.

me and my dad Spent HOURS playing this game Whole Nights of this and sometimes entire runs would last somtimes a week or two because it was a big slog run. The thing this game did that no other civ did was having a hall of Glort that shows off everything you ever built, every win you ever had with each civ you've ever played with a sculpter of that civ made in a metal that defines how you played it and at what kind of victories you've gained in full 3d rendered graphics and lighting, and when events would happen like celebrations and parties that are thrown, you have the ability to watch whats going on in a hall, to see who came to the party to entertain your people, its verry intuitive and not even any other civ game not even 6 does these things.

The phone version was actually pretty decent. It was how I really got into strategy games. Obviously, the actual game is way better, but it was pretty deep for being on the phone, and it wasn't a bs gatcha game.

Civ revolution was my first intro to the genre I played this games almost everyday on my ds when I was a kid. I wish they kept the advisors and the way they would help navigate certain actions i miss them
