Fighting orks is the best/worst option in 40K If you lose you get killed. If you win, you and the orks are now besties and they will return for more fun.

This is actually lore inaccurate. Guardsmen are actually highly trained and valued. Lasgun is actually both quality and quantity equipment. Flak armor while not the best is highly durable and reliable. Guard uniforms, while not super high quality, are pretty durable and reasonably comfortable. Imperial guards actually have good K/D ratio since although they die a lot, they also kill a lot.
