Do you have anything on the privateers of the American revolution ? The 250th anniversary is drawing close. Or do you have any books on the privates that fought in the war of 1812 (a sadly ignored anniversary past)?

I love the pix of the insides of the models. A docent at the museum told me that they would often use a surgery fiber-optic camera to wind around inside to get the picture because, after it was finished, there was no other way to see the interior of the model.

Hello Dear Olha. Are you also happy with the Proxxon tools? I think that it's the best thing they ever invented for modelers. Thanks again for the new videos. Sincerely Gerard
@OlhaBatchvarov3 күн бұрын
Proxxon has the best rotary tools. Also, their micro milll makes the life of modelers much easier. But for example a table saw, you need to make improvements and add twice the price to make it suitable for ship modeling. Also their Disc sanders are not designed for detailed work. I haven't tried the rest of their tools yet)))

The same blocks on my VICTORY model, I made with the help of a rotary tool and a vise - because it was my only power tool at the time... Tools only make the job easier, but that doesn't mean you can't do the same with your hands. It just takes longer! I have been collecting this collection of tools since 2010 and still have a few on my wish list!)))

What do you think about the nail marks?
@OlhaBatchvarov5 күн бұрын
For my taste, they catch the eye too much. But I can't change that. The nails weren't really that noticeable on the real ship...

MAC -ALLISTER ...
@OlhaBatchvarov5 күн бұрын
