Also to mention is what’s the purpose of your 3 wood? Purely off the tee? From the rough? Par 5’s in 2 I would lean towards the max. Higher ball flight. Softer landing. More of an all around club.

I think both look fine, I don't really like the chrome hosel on the Qi35. As long as they don't have the ugly turbulators that Ping has. These 2 models probably wouldn't be what I would play, no Mas or X versions as my miss is already left. The Qi35 is probably the best looking version of the carbon fiber face drivers from TM.

I'm using the 2022 Rouge 😮....don't like carbon tops. I felt the face on the Rouge was dare I say it "hot" I tried the AI smoke and that was nice but no longer or straighter The Rouge I felt like I couldn't miss fairways

I like the Callaway better. I would say with the wraparound top seam on the TaylorMade, that if you sky the ball, it’s going to chip that carbon fiber. It’s gonna be nasty looking!
@robertbeato279522 сағат бұрын
Not so much on this matte gray, that shiny little piece along the crown on the callaway gets a sky mark where it scratches the paint ouch
@Shamogity_Bo12 сағат бұрын
@ I would agree with you that it would look awful with a scratch on top of Callaway but with carbon fiber if it gets chipped, the carbon fiber has a major impact on the fibers integrity. Cracks can keep propagate with every impact. Let’s face it,TM drivers are prone to breaking. That seam along the top of the face doesn’t help matters!

I agree the headcovers look really bad and cheap. I really like TM products and own a few, but I personally feel this line up does not look like it should have any shelf appeal. Overall I don't like the every year release cause and we all know there will be no real overall improvement in performance. Clubs from 5 years ago will still compete very well against anything released today.

I really don't care that much about looks. I am much more performance focused. That said, I think that the TM is better looking, but the ability to move back weights is too important to overlook, so Callaway wins.

@deleebarКүн бұрын
@ that’s not true either, pros play what they’re paid to play because the difference between and modern OEM isn’t substantial enough for them. So they consistently play clubs that may not be “perfect” for them. That said we’re playing a different game from the pros so who knows.
@MrKillahippo21 сағат бұрын
@@deleebar I don't that's the case. Not only are Pro's very fussy and won't just play what ever they are given, Club makers are give them 2-3 choices now days and then get those clubs tuned in for their swing. The last thing club makers need is bad press. No one wants their their number 1 or 2 pro not happy with their clubs and jump ship to another brand.

Honestly, all the adjustability is horse shite. Your buddy telling you to not go in the water has more effect on ball path than any 15 gram weight or Ai sweet spot. The Taylormade is clearly a better looking club, and I would argue that liking the looks is more important than any marketing gimmicks.
