Remove the silver metal box (ignitor) by rotating a bit, pull off, THEN unclip the bulb and remove. Replace bulb, clip, THEN put the silver metal box back on.

I know the video is some time ago, just wondering how did you decide on the direction of the two rubber pieces (of rear shock)? (Some other videos have placed them in different direction) Thanks!
@lx450rob2 ай бұрын
Hi. I installed the rubber grommets back the way I took the original rear shock. You could probably install them either way as long as they are aligned and don’t have any gaps for the 2 to hit and end up an early failure.
@gengzhang63632 ай бұрын
@@lx450rob Thanks for answering. The oem rubber is double convex, while the replacement is convex/concave, thus the confusion. I agree probably it doesn't matter.

Glad you made this video. I've got a 13 that I need to change shocks on. I'm noticing the rear wheels has some negative camber, and the ride is crap. Thinking that's the cause. Rears looks super easy. And I guess I oughta do the fronts too for an even ride.

How I unclip the clips.
@lx450rob3 ай бұрын
Looking at the rear of the headlight the hole where the bulb goes in has a groove that the clip goes around. All you do is push in and go around that small groove and the clip that holds the bulb detaches from it.

@@bartcanuck734 after installing the aftermarket grill there was no check engine light or any error codes whatsoever, this is a basic installation of a grill nothing more. Active grill is behind the actual grill, you have to remove it before you can install the aftermarket pce. Hope that helps.

Nice video!! I have a question about ur ARB bull bar, I'm getting the same bumper but it's not airbag compatible, how did you solve this problem?
@lx450rob2 жыл бұрын
Great question. I didn’t do anything srs “airbag” related when I installed the arb bullbar on my other video, I have wheeled with it pretty good and no issues airbag related, with that being said I would go with known brands that uses these same bumpers and compare for yourself to make your final decision. Arb does talk about it being compatible for vehicles with airbag. For me I’ve always liked the arb bullbar it gives out the original landcruiser look and have been out for decades without any of my knowledge any issues. Hopefully I’ve answered some issues d your questions. Thank you for checking my videos.

There are many how to’s out there especially on ih8mud website if your not familiar with that website please check it out it’s all landcruiser related.
