I''m a big fans of PSR series, believe me , the SX920 and Genos can be way better. I watched some Genos2 performance from China arranger and performer and they did really orchestra level of performance just like what we heard in the concert. These arranger keyboards are really underrated.

Thanks! ... I downloaded them then installed them on the root directory of my USB stick which my SX920 recognizes. It can read the directories (like "oldies") but inside them it finds none of the files ... you get empty slots. Any idea why?

@@camilleotrakji please watch my Second Playlist, Video. You need to open the Folder in Playlist. otherwise you won’t see it because these instruments have a restricted visibility. Open the playlist and select the current play from the top so you can browse. I am showing that at the beginning of the other video.

How does the keyboard KNOW when to sound a Major or a Minor chord? I see only 1 note pressed at a time on the left hand!?

@@bertholdzenner729 this is the smart chord feature. You can define the key and the type the chords should be. This is now set to jazz and a-minor. It always choses typical chords based on the root note.

Das Lied ist 1999 entstanden. Und Klavierinterpretation wirst du auch noch in 100 Jahren mit dem Genos 1 spielen können (wenn die Kiste da noch gehen würde). Es ist nur so, dass ein Schüler beispielsweise jetzt Blinding Lights spielt. Das ist wunderbar am Genos 2 und mit den neuen SX Keyboards spielbar, weil eben dieser throwback Pop da drin ist. Mit den anderen Keyboards geht das zwar auch irgendwie, aber man muss halt fummeln das klingt einfach nicht gleich. Natürlich ist ein Topmodel ein Topmodel. Und ich spiele auch viel lieber auf meinem Genos. Aber gerade in Anbetracht dessen, dass Yamaha nur für die neuen Keyboards den Expansion Explorer rausbringt, macht die Entscheidung nicht einfacher. Deswegen ist meine Ansicht: es kommt darauf an, was einem wichtiger ist. Für mich ist die Antwort nicht eindeutig.

Ist ein echt spannendes, neues Feature. Ich glaube da wird noch einiges mehr kommen. Die Idee ist super, ich glaub die anderen Artikulationen müssen aber irgendwie separat in der Lautstärke steuerbar sein oder zumindest lauter gemacht werden. Im Style gehen manche Artikulationen sonst verloren.

Finally some side-by-side sound comparison! I'd really like to hear some more! A lot of reviewers said they hear a huuuuge sound difference between the SX900 and the SX920, but I have to say, I'm not convinced, I don't hear the great magic why I should upgrade from my SX900.

Is there anything you would like to know or to hear? I would like to help. Please don't lose the joy you have with your SX900. It isn't getting worse just because something new has been released. Of course the SX920 good a lot of great improvements that results in better Sound. This is due to upgraded Hardware (The same Chips like Genos 1) and great new Software that is coming from the Genos 2.

Does both keyboard has same main reverb amount value ? From your another compare, i found SX920 sound notable higher reverb value setting to my ear.

@@totomoyap8648 no, sorry. I just improvised very fast and didn‘t set the same value. But the reverb itself is totally different as well, so the value is not a good indicator. SX920 has the superior reverb from Genos 1.

How does the keybed feel like? I sold my SX900 last year because the keys were very noisy and felt cheap and weak.

I had to come back and listen to this again. It is kinda startling how much better the SX920 sounds playing back over KZbin. What audio interface did you use to record this? What DAW?

The difference in this video, in the SX900 the sound is still from CFIII (CF3) while in the SX920 the sound is from CFX

Does the key action feel any better? this is such a dumb question but is it usual to see minor scratches on the keys of sx920 after a week of use eventhough i dont have long nails, i mean it is just pretty hard to see scratches on my new keyboard

@@TRAZExYT to be honest, these scratches are also visible on Genos 2. In my opinion, the Keybed on SX920 feels better than on SX900. On 720 it feels the same as on SX700.
