Amazing! I understand the alignment now. This isn't taught in a lot of adult ballet classes.

❤ I really enjoyed how you added to Desiree’s concepts thoughtfully as to be supportive. It felt like a step by step process that built up slowly enough for there to be strong connections as well as pockets where there is still potential to discover and further self-explore for the client. ❤🔥

oh I'm so glad! For sure, it may be a minute as I haven't filmed in the studio for awhile but I can give you some tips. Tell me more about this trouble balancing, like while going around or as you're coming out of it into the landing?
@shopping61752 ай бұрын
@@TheWholePointe Thank you! It’s when I’m going around, I lose my balance. And I can’t get enough momentum to go more than one round. If I want to go more than one round, I have to try to swing myself and that obviously doesn’t work. Is there a way to add some force into the 2nd or 3rd turns?

it's actually spelled: "En Dehors" and "En Dedans". Thanks for the tips, I was trying to learn this today in ballet class and it seemed like it was the same in both directions, but now I see it is not

These always seem the wrong way 'round to me. Devant is front-side-front with the foot that does the swish. Derriere is back-side-back. To me a pas de bourree over should mean bringing the starting foot to the front (back-side-front) and under should mean front-side-back. Do you have any explanation as to why the rules would change front devant and derriere to over and under? My ballet teacher has been teaching longer than I've been alive and I've always believed she has the over and under thing wrong, but seeing someone else doing it the same as her means it's obviously the done way.

@@TheWholePointe It’s been so amazing! Although I think the downside of starting as a teenager is the confidence issues! I was already so insecure at that age, and being in a class of amazing 10 year olds didn’t do good for my confidence 😂 But starting ballet has honestly changed my life. I have goals and things to work for, which has been really good for me. I work a lot on my ballet after practice because one of my goals it to get a Pointe role in the Nutcracker next year, and I’m really really crossing my fingers. And although I don’t have any wishes of becoming a professional, because of your story I really think it’s possible to get to a professional level!
