I'm newly retired and am fixing to purchase my first RC plane. One question I have for anyone reading is, has anyone ever heard of anyone losing a plane because they lost sight of it, and the plane continued to fly into oblivion? I know once I start flying I will be hooked.

Yes that’s a common mistake by folks getting into the hobby. I learned best by having instructor,having an instructor take over when I got to far away,or lost orientation..oh btw crashing will happen..

Growing up as a teenage Bronking buck with a pink carnation and a pick up truck and being in the hay day of off road vehicles it brings back some fond memories seeing the old body styles. It was a special time and still affordable in those days. Trails were open in the national parks that are closed today and there was always an abundance of strip mines in my areas and off road trails.

It’s not worth it to put an avian for thrust reversed cause when you reverse the thrust most of the air will come out off the ventilation grills on the bottom of the jet and not through the front opening

The canopy popped off mine 50% of the time using regular 3S 2700 batteries. I added another magnet, hollowed out the underside of the canopy and switched to low profile batteries.

I have this plane still the box! But I'm going to put a Pin Up Babe from WW2 on the side, and planning on using a Specktrum 6S 5000mAh G2 50C or 30C Li-Po in it. I also want to install a Sound system with a seperate battery to power it. That's is plan anyway! Really nice flying Bobby K! 👏👍😁
