You probably already know this, but you can get the same elevator throws in SAFE by bumping up the SAFE gains, in fwd programming, by 10-15 points. SAFE gains adjust the control surface movements for pitch and roll while in SAFE. As opposed to the AS3X gains, which is for the amount of reaction to wind/turbulence. If you're not planning on rolling and looping a bunch, its nice to have it come back to level and still have the authority to jerk her around just like in AS3X mode. I fly to relax and distract myself from life's stresses. Im not trying to be the coolest rc pilot with an impressive bag of tricks. I just love taking off, touch n goes, landing and jerking that thrust reverse up, stopping my plane right of front of me. So, i keep 'em in SAFE and adjust the SAFE settings to allow me all the stuff i want, with lower consequences when i inevitably dumb thumb a maneuver. Aweseome, greasy low pass with that Rafale.
