Was Ryan combining their reps as his total? Because that's @250 depending on the very last exercise you rep out.

I watched so many videos on underwaters and most of them are analyzing Caeleb Dressel. It’s nice to finally learn it directly from the man the myth the legend.

Hey, yesterday during the training I tried to focus more on my underwater but most often got out of breath and it was hard to do it. Do you have any tips to improve lungs strength?

The “handle” on the whip makes so much sense, was thinking about it in practice and undies (lol) are feeling better already!!! Thanks Caeleb!!!

Thanks. But I'm confused by the tempo numbers even though I've used a Tempo Trainer a lot. People often use the Tempo Trainer in the strokes / minute setting and mean 140 strokes / minute when they say 140, but I think you mean 1.40 seconds / kick because you said 35 is much faster, so that must mean 0.35 seconds / kick. It might be much clearer if you easily edit the video to just replace the "140 Tempo" writing in the upper right with "1.40 Seconds per Kick" etc. That might clarify how much higher-tempo Caeleb's race pace 0.48 Seconds per Kick is than what most swimmers do in most practice sets.

fantastic vid. one of the things that's always held back my underwaters is my ankle range of motion? I have weak/loose ankles and the tops of them hurt a LOT if i whip too much. anyone else deal with that and figured out the right PT exercises to allow for more whipping?

I'd also love to see a good tutorial on how to do a flip turn. I haven't really found anything good from any Olympians on flip turns, and it would be extremely helpful.
