Does coolant expire? If you don't ride that much, do you still have to drain it at the manufacturer's recommended intervals?

This is about the most comprehensive instructional I've seen on the shorty levers for a GSXR 1000. The detail on the front brake plunger is where most seem to fail. Bear in mind commenters that the GSXR K7 up has hydraulic clutch so most vids you see are with a clutch cable. Thank you very much!

one thing i would suggest is when everything is filled up don't put the radiator cap yet let it cycle through the engine for a while. That will help get the air out the system that way you don't have any air pockets into your coolant lines. Otherwise that could cause your engine to overheat and do much more things that you don't want to happen...

I have a leak from somewhere in the my bike. I have a 06 gsxr 600. I ended up having a small accident and my bike started to overheat and leak coolant. I found out it was my radiator since I layed it on the right side causing the cap the bend and coolant was coming out. I have it fixed but now, the coolant isnt coming from the radiator cap. Now its coming from some place else. And it still overheats. I have changed the thermostat and still overheats, i checked everything but i saw that the coolant is coming from some place in the middle of the bike. Do you know where else it could leak from? Its leaking a lot once I turn the bike on and gets up to 200 degrees. It leaks when I put coolant but its gets worse when I turn it on. Any ideas? Help! Lol
