This song I play on rotation, it speaks so many volumes about God, from sending His only Son, living on earth and going through everything we've been through, to dying on the cross, Jesus knows what we've been through, and He goes before His Father in our defense when we mess up!!!! Imagine that! He Understands! Thank God for sending your Son and for understanding us as your creation, and the room You give us to be better each time.

In 2010 I got clean in a homeless shelter and got saved, worked a program and eventually got married and started a family. In 2018 I relapsed and was buried in shame. I felt so alone. As I began to try and turn the corner and get clean again I found this song. As I began to put some days together I really started to see how close the Father was to me. The enemy had used so much of what I felt against me. All of the accusations I would make towards him and those around me were so amplified. His love is faithful. When I began the honest process of surrender the accusations turned to questions, and he began to answer. Listening to this song now after 2yrs on my new path of recovery I have experienced him sitting with me in my tears and holding me ever so close. This song was my modern day Psalm. It is a great reflection of what could have very well been countless hours in the heart of the psalmist. I still cry when I sing it, just like the Psalms when I pray them. Chandler Moore gets it, so grateful for this song.
