This statement was told to me many times before, so much so that I began to resent it. I felt like because people knew I could take it, they took advantage of my strength. Always being the rock that someone could come to but never having that person for myself. To show a vulnerable moment would be met with mixed or critical response. So began to bottle it all up, try to hold the weight of the world on my shoulders, until I got tired, and I didn't want it anymore. I wanted Jesus! BUT I didn't want his people anymore. Until he showed me I didn't have to, my shoulders weren't strong enough, I wasn't supposed to hold everything I had to give it to him and find someone that I could do life and ministry with.
