My Great Grandfather is buried in the Churchyard at Sibford Gower ! ( I take it there is only one church there ? ) I've never been there .I found out from one of these ancestry websites . I saw a photo of him with thick whiskers and a moustache . His name was Ernest Green . I think he died between 1880 and 1910 .

There is something so sweet about the enthusiasm that a simple merry go round can conjure. You are so right. A theme park ride may make people's hair stand on end but these children (and maybe the adults too) will treasure the simple joy of riding around on a wooden horse. Thank you. I feel the same way. Someone will always contradict this, but in a world divided where fostering the hatred of some person or some group of people, a horse simply coming to you and wanting to have their hair ruffled or fed from the same grass they were eating before from your hand, reminds us of the best we could be... Simply responding with openness and kindness. Maybe it isn't always wise but it's so much nicer than going the other way... And it is Christmas. Thanks for your support this year.

This forest has a special interest to me being the setting for where Goldfinger's assistant, Oddjob, kills Bond's travelling companion with his hat. Film fans often think that all the Bond films were shot on exotic locations and many times that was true but the main body of all the early films were shot in and around Pinewood Studios, so this forest crops up in a lot of movies. It is beautiful in its own right of course but that always adds something to the interest for me as I grew up loving those movies. Thank you for your comments. They are always so heartening.

Autumn is such a beautiful season. It is so nice to watch the beautiful Autumn colors. I always enjoy watching the leaves float down onto the water and you captured many of these interesting shots in this video. Black Park Lake looks like a great place to enjoy nature and the beauty of the Autumn season. I didn't realize that this area was used by so many studios. As you said, it must make it a busy area. I really enjoyed the reflections that you captured of the trees and the clouds in the water. It was fun to see the remote controlled boat going by in the video. Thank you for a nice quite video by the water. I am sure that you enjoyed this walk.

It is a beautiful season. The colours are stunning. All the reds and golds. There were three old men (I say old because they were even older than me) having fun with the remote control boats. I love the idea of older people playing with the same enthusiasm as children. Such things can preserve an inner youth. This body of water was used by 'The Pirates of Blood River' to dispose of enemies thanks to its many piranhas. It made me laugh to think of it, seeing people playing with boats, as something that could stand in for some South American jungle lake. Thank you for watching and commenting. It means a lot.

I really enjoyed watching this video. It has a different feel to the photography. The sounds were wonderful and it had the right balance between natural and musical sounds. The town has a wonderful waterfront. The river sounds were great to record. I loved the reflections of the bridge in water. The bridge is very ornate, with some amazing architectural details. Everything seems so peaceful while you were walking. Knaresborough looks like a great place to explore. Thank you for bringing us along on this adventure.

I am amazed and fascinated by fire. As with water, it just holds me at a primal level. I can stare deep into the myriad colours of the flames (colours that I have not often seen represented in video form because the textures get lost). I edited around the brightest moments as much as possible so you can see the deeper tones as the rich dark colours appear within the smoke. Thank you for watching and commenting. Many videos get lost because as youtube grows exponentially, it becomes harder to find anything. I am currently in catch up mode myself. So thanks again.
