Thank you so much. I think this one might be of minority interest but as long as one or two people enjoy it, it's all worthwhile.

Well, that was 35 mins & 19 secs of pure bliss. Your videos transport me to another place whereby I feel totally relaxed and like I don’t have a care in the world whatsoever! Thank you so much for sharing this rare beauty!

You're more than welcome. And thank you for saying so. Hook Norton is a very interesting place. The brewery such a unique-looking place. I should have timed the walk to show a horse and cart delivery but... Maybe next time. Thank you again for your support. I always say this but I mean it... If one person enjoys a video, then I am very happy to have made it so hearing that someone has enjoyed a walk with me always plays a huge role.

I really enjoyed your tour of Hook Norton. It looks like a great place to visit. I love the thatched roofs and the stonework. The architecture is amazing, as always. The history of this town is incredible. To think that it was inhabited around the year 900 makes you feel very small. St Peter's church is a wonderful example of the old stone mason's work. It is truly beautiful. You always find so many wonderful places to walk. I love the way you ended the tour at the brewery. It is nice to know that Hook Norton will always have a crowd of visitors, due to he brewery. Thank you another wonderful tour.

Thank you for your support. I admire the way you shifted styles over the past few months and now produce wonderful works of poetry to accompany the visuals; the words guiding the relaxed appreciation of nature. And I have been looking at other approaches that I might employ with this kind of material. I do love the long form walking style video and have been using that style (with its consistent uninterrupted POV) because of the particular qualities it offers. It gives the viewer a chance to see, in a way, with their own eyes and make their own minds up. Some might say that they are not seeing with their own eyes because they are guided by what the camera looks at and this is, of course, true. What you have done with your poetry, however, is an assist; a kind of guide to the feelings rather than the intellect. In that sense they have a meditative quality. Like seeing the reflection of sky in water and seeing it more clearly than if you just looked at the sky. With my videos, although they are planned in my head, nothing ever works out how I think it will and, right now, I embrace that. If a pretty girl in a short skirt is walking in front of me, I don't want my camera to become her stalker (that would be a very different kind of walking video) so I tend to swing away even if I would have preferred to keep that angle had she not suddenly been there. I don't want to blur number plates of cars (even though there are a few reasons why I should) so I try and swerve my camera away from parked cars as subtly as I can and as much as I can. I like the sensation of cars passing by but I have to reduce the sound or it can be quite jarring for what is intended to be a relaxing walk. Because I am using a very small camera, I don't have noise reduction equipment in play so a light breeze can sound like someone punching a boom mike (one of the reasons I started adding music was to cover such unpleasant noises without faking the sound too much). Conditions affect what I choose to do in editing (even though having one continuous shot implies a lack of editing). My point is, I very much appreciate the thoughtful responses you have given to my work. I have been encouraged by your kind praise and taken note of what you said about cars. I honestly appreciate the time you take to comment. Thanks.

Nice pub. I could hardly call myself a local but it always seems a friendly place to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.
