Ash was executed they didn’t have to do that. Ik he killed the swat member but them executing him when they could’ve taken cover & asked him to come out & drop it one last time then if he didn’t they could’ve shot him dead then but they slowly lifted their beams like so sad smh this is the saddest part of the show to me

They should've shown flashbacks to when Ashtray was just a baby and Fez was taking care of him.

Usnavi was pissing me off like how are you gonna 1. Ask if she wants a drink then go for shots at the bar without her, 2. LET HER GO DANCE W SOMEONE ELSE after she blew him off for him, and 3. Slut shame her for dancing with other guys when he was the one blowing her off???

Wow her acting is unbelievably good. She is perfect for the role. And the entire scene is made with so much emotional depth and background. Amazing

This is definitely my favorite song in the whole movie. It’s so relatable that hurts. 😞

I’m black but grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood so I’m immersed into the culture. The sense of community was amazing. I’ve loved this soundtrack for a while but I recently failed my college classes and came back home so this song hits especially hard at the moment. It’s so powerful

Sometimes I really be feeling like Nina, I’ve always been a straight A student I’m about to graduate in a year and coming from a poor Latino family I’m really debating if I should do college.

The big differences between the stage version and the cinema version of The Club / Blackout: 1. Usnavi is not a great dancer in the stage version 2. There is a big fight in the club before the blackout 3. Usnavi and Vanessa were fine at the end of the Club, they were Benny and Nina the ones who argued, the film version was focused in Usnavi and Vanessa 4. Sonny and Graffiti Pete, fearing looters, set off fireworks to distract potential robbers, in the film version they wanted to help illuminating the community by set off fireworks

Perfect casting. I first heard the soundtrack before seeing the movie and was struck by the wonderful contrast between the sharp, strong, kind of intense beauty of Leslie Grace and her soft, vulnerable, honey-like voice. 😢 She made me feel every bit of emotion Nina must have from her performance. My heart aches for Nina. Plus, I would be devastated having to disappoint Bail Organa too.
