I chickened out at about the 3:18 point in this video and had to turn around. But it was beautiful. Maybe another year I will go back and try to get to the glacier.

Am I missing something? After the bridge you’re in 18. Then you split it to 18 low. Then you go to 17th but looks like you go back in 17 high then continue to downshift in the high range?

During my apprenticeship I drove a Volvo FH16.580 with 12-speed transmission for 3 years. With 26 tons of steel plates, 7% Hill on the A7 in Germany. The other drivers were scrambling with effort, my Volvo was pulling and pulling as if it was unloaded on the flat. Unbelievable, cheers to Swedish engineering!
@oscar721x8
@oscar721x8 Жыл бұрын
Is all going to depend how the truck is spec. And this Volvo isn’t 100% Swedish because it has a Cummins ISX paired to a 18-speed fuller, both engine and transmission are American.

I love this. Hauling in treacherous conditions is the best, I pretend I have a whole town waiting for me to bring food and it makes the ride much less stressful.

Better to work in a manufacturing factory, warehouse, or steel mill, than driving truck for a living. Not only do you have to deal with dangerous weather conditions - you gotta deal with dick head 4 wheeled drivers who practice creative driving maneuvers all around the city streets and freeways. The latest driving sporting event in the Detroit area is shooting at people while driving on the freeway. It's known as "Urban Roulette". Need to take a Detroit area freeway to get to your destination? You take a chance on getting there alive. Better to take the surface streets. Your chances of getting carjacked stopped at a traffic signal are much lower than getting shot at on the freeway. And Detroit Mayor Mike (dumbass) Duggan sez, Detroit is coming back!!! Yep it is - coming back to the riot of 1967.

Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins! Come to HIM🙂🙂🙂
